The President of the Republic of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Malikgulyyewic, received today in Ashgabat, Minister of Trade and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, who is currently visiting Turkmenistan to head the Saudi delegation to the sixth session of the Saudi-Turkmen joint committee. During the meeting, the Minister of Trade and Investment conveyed to the Turkmenistan President the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince, wishing the Turkmen Government and its brotherly people further progress and prosperity. The meeting dealt with a number of topics of mutual concern towards enhancing and developing trade and investment relations between the two countries. The meeting discussed several topics, namely: cooperation in the fields of energy, gas and mineral resources, and cooperation in the fields of agriculture, tourism and culture. The meeting was attended by the Saudi Ambassador in Turkmenistan Khalid bin Faisal Al-Sahli and a number of officials.
