In the Saudi capital of Riyadh and its main seaport city of Jeddah, an addition to the history of football before the eyes of the world, when stadia of the Kingdom hosted friendly international quartet matches for the teams of Brazil, Argentina, Saudi Arabia and Iraq, from 11-16 Oct., in a tournament called the Super Classico.
Fans of Samba, Tango, Green Hawks and Lions of Mesopotamia will never forget those six days, which were written in gold letters, in football records, after the President of the Saudi Sport Authority Turki bin Abdulmuhsin Al Al-Sheikh was a dream that was never thought off before, as it directly relate to the reality with the support and interest of the Saudi leadership, announcing after the world vacuum of the World Cup Russia, for the holding of a Super Cups, in Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Argentina and Iraq, as these teams attended to Saudi Arabia with stars to compete in International friendly competition of a character of a tournament of great public and media value.
The capital Riyadh was the first leg of the Super Classico, which began last Thursday with a match between the Iraqi and Argentine team, at Prince Faisal bin Fahad Stadium and ended with a 4-0 victory for Argentina, amid a large crowd attendance, and then on the following day (Friday) the Saudi team met Brazil, in an exciting match held, at the stadium of King Saud University and witnessed a public presence that filled the stadiums, in the capital Riyadh, ending with Brazil's victory of 2-0, followed by this great confrontation another encounter between Saudis and Iraqis' teams on the same stadium on Monday, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
In Jeddah, west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the second leg of the Super Classico has taken place, where the attention attracted fans of Brazilian and Argentinian football all towards King Abdullah Sports Stadium or the "Jewel", which embraced the crest of football matches in the world, against more than 62 thousand spectators from various parts of the Kingdom and from several countries, to watch the Samba and Tango stars led by Neymar Jr. and Paulo DiBala and their friends, at a unique international football event for the first time, in the Middle East.

The Super Classico was not just a spherical match between these four teams, but was also a new window and interface to introduce the development and prosperity of Saudi Arabia, in all fields, its history, sports, social, cultural and civilizational heritage and ambitious Vision of 2030, which is moving the country towards a new future.
As many as 150 media coverage outlets and outfits' personnel were taking part, at such a globally recognized sporting event, toured with their teams throughout the capital city of Riyadh and the dreamy city of Jeddah to witness as much as possible of the past, present and future of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
