Minister of Economy and Planning Mohammed bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri and the Emirates' Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Gergawi, the co-chairman of the Executive Committee of the Saudi-Emirates Coordination Council, have chaired their first meeting of the committe, held here on Wednesday 12 September 2018. The meeting reviewed the progress of the implementation of joint strategic projects, within the "Strategy of Determination" and discussed the latest cooperation between the two parties, in order to achieve the aspirations of the two leaderships and serve the common interests of the two countries and peoples. Initiatives and priorities were also discussed and their work and performance indicators were followed up. Executive Committee was formed to ensure effective implementation of the opportunities for cooperation and partnership between the two countries and to set standards through which to monitor the progress of work and to achieve full bilateral cooperation, in key areas and joint projects. The meeting falls in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. Minutes of the meeting was held on 21st Ramadan 1439H, in Jeddah, under the co-chairmanship of HRH Crown Prince his Abu Dhabi counterpart and the membership of a number of ministers and officials, from both countries. A joint vision of economic, developmental and military integration was announced through 44 joint strategic projects, lying on the three main axes: the economic, human and cognitive, political, security and military sectors as a result of the "Determination's Strategy". The Executive Committee is set to play a key role, in accelerating implementation of the memorandums of understanding, co-signed between the two countries.
