Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper in its editorial entitled ''Saudi security and humanitarian missions'' wrote that Saudi security forces participating in Hajj services are unique as they do not exercise their duties as purely military forces, but their own culture inspired by the nature of the tasks entrusted to them, topped by the ritual of Hajj as one of the five pillars of Islam. The paper added that Saudi security men in holy places were able in this exceptional military culture to present to the world taking pictures of their religious duties in taking care of pilgrims and dedicating themselves to their services. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented on the strategic achievements of Saudi Aramco by saying that Saudi Aramco's annual report for the year 2017 contains many of the Company's strategic figures and achievements, which reinforce its role as the world's first producer of crude oil and condensates, and its work and plans to integrate refining and chemical production and expansion of natural gas to meet the needs of the world and the Kingdom of growing energy, which is in line with its expected role in the national transformation plan and Kingdom's vision 2030. The paper pointed out that the report showed that the Kingdom has a huge hydrocarbon wealth, including the company's possession of about 333 billion barrels of oil and gas reserves, which means, according to observers , a level of production for more than 80 years, considering production at the level of 11 million barrels per day, noting that Aramco has increased its oil and gas exploration and production capacity to 10.2 million barrels per day including condensates and continues to seize opportunities in all markets and achieve global partnerships in many countries.
