Manager of Riyadh-based Al-Hilal football team Portuguese Georgi Jesus underscored here today the importance of the Super Cup match, to be played, as usual, on the trophy of the Saudi General Authority for Sports, which will pit his team against across the Kingdom's old archrival Jeddah-based Al-Ittihad, at the stadium of Queens Park Rangers, in London. "The game is important for Al-Hilal, especially, that we are at the beginning of the season and after a pre-season preparation period," Jesus said, at a joint press conference held, at the London's set venue for the match. "Diaz, as a formerly coach of Al-Hilal knows a lot about our team, but he does not know what or how I do think and the way I train," he said, adding that "I spent a good time with the team and got to know more about the players". On the other hand, Al-Ittihad coach Ramon Diaz remarked that confronting Al-Hilal, in the Super, in London, will be very tough. "The game is expected to be very tough, I know that Al-Hilal is very strong, however my new team is recovering and will be very well", he said, adding that "my personal previous knowlege about my rival today will help me very much." "We have seen a great deal of work, during the last period, from the General Authority for Sports, to develop the Saudi football, he added. Foreign players will give the league extra strength and we hope the Saudi Super will be the best start, he concluded.
