Arab Interior Ministers Council SG: the Remarks made by Canadian FM and Canadian Embassy in Riyadh are considered flagrant interference in domestic affairs

The Secretariat General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council expressed its disapproval of the statements made by the Canadian foreign ministry and Canadian embassy in Riyadh on the so-called civil society activists, describing them as irresponsible.
In a statement issued here today, the Secretariat General said that the Canadian position is considered a blatant interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, an attempt to affect the criminal justice system and a call to escaping the law and justice.
The statement said that the Secretariat General, firmly rejecting this irresponsible position, would like to express its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the measures it was taking to guarantee the social peace, combat crimes and remain keen to make that in a complete respect to human rights and dignity.
The Secretariat General lauded the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom in support of human rights in the region and the world and its strenuous effort for enhancing international peace and security, expressing profound appreciation of the constructive measure it was taking to undertake its responsibilities of observing its citizens security and safety and service of the Arab and international fair issues.
