Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper in its editorial entitled ''The Kingdom's firm position towards Palestine'' wrote that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has not deviated from its principles pertaining to the issue of Palestine which has been a priority in Saudi politics, and the most recent one was naming Dhahran Summit as AlQuds Summit, in addition to the allocation of $ 200 million in aid to Palestinians. The paper noted that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud told Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in their last meeting that the Kingdom accepts what Palestinians accept and rejects what they reject, and stressed that the Kingdom rejects any American peace plan that neglects the Palestinian position on Jerusalem (AlQuds). Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial entitled ''Ethical crisis'' said that by announcing the interventions of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Qatar's bid to host 2022 World Cup which witnessed legal and ethical irregularities, former FIFA president Joseph Blatter has opened the door to the accountability of the Qatari regime and all parties involved in one of the most corrupt gloomy forms in the world. The paper pointed out that the World Cup's file, like many political, economic and military files managed by the Qatari leadership, have smelled corruption out of them which constitute a moral crisis experienced by Doha's regime, and make it an island isolated from the world fed up with the mentality of its rulers who believe that money alone can reach advanced ranks.
