Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, and his Spanish counterpart, Joseph Borrell, on Monday had a discussion on promoting cooperation between the two countries, as well as regional and international developments. After a meeting held in Madrid, the two ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to frame and institutionalize joint political consultation. The Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, said his country's government was in the process of approving a soft loan for the Kingdom to finance the Red Sea-Dead Sea Water Conveyance project.
