Scores of Palestinians suffocated early Sunday as Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters during clashes that broke out in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank. Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a statement the clashes erupted in the Hebron town after the Israeli forces raided the area and shot tear gas bombs and stun grenades at the protesters, which left many suffering severe effects of teargas inhalation, who were treated by the PRCS medical teams on the scene.
