The establishment of the center came from the Kingdom's sense of duty to alleviate the suffering of the human beings in order to live a decent life. In its work, the center relies on pillars emanating from noble humanitarian objectives based on providing assistance to the needy and relief to victims in any part of the world through a precise monitoring mechanism and advanced and rapid transfer methods through the use of UN organizations as well as international and local non-profit organizations in the recipient countries with high reliability. On his part, Advisor-Royal Court, Supervisor General of the center, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, said that the center began to change the concept of relief work with UN organizations, and it seeks to become a leading global model in relief and humanitarian work, noting that the center has reached, in the span of three years, 40 countries in different continents of the world, and provided them with a lot of humanitarian, relief and developmental assistance, in partnership with international, regional and local partners in the recipient countries.
