Delegates from Yemen Comprehensive Humanitarian Operations (YCHO) Support Center have participated in the first day of the meetings of the Humanitarian Affairs Section of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, held annually at the United Nations headquarters here to enhance the efficiency of the humanitarian action and raise potentials of affected and needy peoples. The meetings focused on humanitarian funding, support for international humanitarian efforts, empowerment of young relief workers, and how a humanitarian action is based on in-depth information for predicting and analyzing risks. The Yemen Comprehensive Humanitarian Operations (YCHO) Support Center was established on January 22, 2018, in conjunction with the announcement of the Comprehensive Humanitarian Operations Plan in Yemen, which works around the clock to support and facilitate the movement of humanitarian and relief works in Yemen.
