The Yemeni army announced its control over Hodeidah Airport and defeating of Houthi militias on the fourth day of a military operation launched by the Yemeni army to restore the city of Hodeidah and its strategic harbor. The media center of the armed forces confirmed the control of the Yemeni army and resistance backed by the forces of the Coalition for Supporting the Legitimacy in Yemen over the airport after battles during which Houthi militias collapsed and fled away, noting that engineering teams are clearing the airport and its surroundings of mines and explosive devices. On the other hand, the media center pointed out that battleships and fighters of the Coalition for Supporting the Legitimacy bombed the base and the naval college in the city controlled by Houthi militias.
