RSADF Downed Two Hostile Drone in Abha and Jizan, Coalition Forces report

Colonel Turki Al-Malki, Spokesman of the Coalition Forces in Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, announced that the air defense system successfully downed at the southern cities of Abha and Jazan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia respectively two hostile drones sent by the Houthi militias from the Yemeni territories.
In a statement, Al-Turki explained that the air defense system has detected at 07:40 am an unidentified body flying towards Abha International Airport and destroyed it due to the rules of engagement. Immediately, the air navigation was closed in accordance with the global aviation laws. Then, the air navigation traffic was reopened from and to the airport".
Colonel Al-Malki disclosed that specialists of the joint coalition forces examined the fragments of the body and found that it was a hostile Houthi drone with Iranian features and specifications that were trying to target the airport under the International Humanitarian Law.
On the other hand, Colonel Al-Malki stated that an unidentified body towards a civilian landmark in Jazan was monitored and destroyed by air defense with no losses. Immediate tests conducted by specialists of the joint coalition revealed that the fragments of the body were identical to the hostile drone's fragments that was downed at Abha International Airport.
In this regard, the Command of Joint Forces of Coalition warns, in the strongest terms, the Houthi armed militia supported by Iran from targeting civilian objects and people, and from using suicide terrorist attack tactics as they will receive frim deterrent counterattack. The command will take all deterrent actions in accordance with international humanitarian law and customary rules, he said.
The Command of Joint Forces of Coalition also warns, at the same time, the terrorist Houthi militia against using these capabilities against civilian objects and people as well as vital and industrial facilities, calling upon the leaders and planners of the terrorist militia and those who stand behind them to reconsider their use and be ready to bear the consequences.
