King of Bahrain receives Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain received at Al-Saferiya palace in Manama today the Saudi ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Al-Sheikh.
During the meeting, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa lauded the strong and firm ties binding the two kingdoms, citing the high level and popular cooperation between them in all fields.
The King sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wishing the Saudi people steady progress and prosperity.
He reiterated the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain supportive to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its fight against terrorism and extremism and condemning the repeated aggressive actions launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militias against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that they constitute flagrant violation of the international values and principles.
King Hamad also expressed appreciation of the pioneering role undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to guarantee the security and stability of the region, seen as a strategic base for the Arab and Islamic nations.
