Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir received at his office here today Costa Rica's Minister of Foreign Affairs Manuel Gonzalez Sanz. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and means of enhancing joint cooperation. On this occasion, Al-Jubeir held a luncheon in honor of Costa Rica's Minister of Foreign Affairs. A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Costa Rica was signed. In a press conference, Al-Jubeir described the visit paid by Costa Rica's Minister of Foreign Affairs as historical. He also said that the meeting addressed means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields. For his part, Costa Rica's Minister of Foreign Affairs said that there are prospects for cooperation between the two countries to develop relations in the fields of tourism, trade and investment.
