Adverse weather conditions have caused Olympic organizers to call off the men's downhill race scheduled for Sunday at the Jeongseon Alpine Centre. "Due to the strong wind and the forecast for today, the jury together with POCOG (the Pyeongchang Games organizing committee) have decided to postpone today's men's downhill to another date," a short statement said early Sunday, according to dpa. The race jury has also cancelled Monday's downhill training for the alpine combined event due to the weather forecast, the statement added. A team captain's meeting is scheduled for Monday at 4 pm (0700 GMT) where further details on scheduling will be discussed.
