Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz, Al-Yaum and Al-Riyadh newspapers commented on the situation in Iran, saying that Iranian cities are witnessing demonstrations against the Iranian regime due to starvation and humiliation and raising banners saying "Death to the dictator" and "No to high prices", noting that the Iranian people are revolting against Mullahs and declared to the whole world their rejection of Iran's internal and foreign policies which have starved them in order to provide their economic and financial resources for terrorists in Lebanon, Yemen and Bahrain. The papers indicated that the Iranian regime had resorted to security repressive apparatuses to suppress demonstrations and started a wide spread campaign against citizens trying to get rid of it.
