Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper commented on the state's budget announced, saying that the Kingdom's largest budget in terms of spending over its history was established on a strategic base for reform and sustainable development, and have managed to raise rates of dependence on non-oil resources within less than three years to nearly fifty percent, which is a great rate, very large, especially since it did not affect the process of stability and economic prosperity experienced by the Kingdom. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented on General Assembly of UN's decision on Jerusalem (AlQuds), saying that the international consensus in the issue of Jerusalem (AlQuds) was expected, as the free world rejects any form of occupation and imposition of fait accompli by force, and that adding to the status of Jerusalem (AlQuds) among the followers of the divine religions. Newspaper added that the decision of the General Assembly of the United Nations is not binding, but reflects a belief in peace based on respect for the constants and the right of peoples to self-determination.
