Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Inaugurates the 1st Conference on Development of Arabic Prose In Pakistan

Saudi Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki inaugurated the 1st Conference on Development of Arabic Prose organized by the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad in cooperation with King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for the Arabic Language under the title: Development of Arabic Prose in the 2nd Half of the 20th century.
Speaking at the opening speech, Al-Malki highlighted the importance of the Arabic language, explaining that it is the language of the Holy Quran, pointing out that if the language is the communication tool among the peoples around the world, Arabic is the communication tool among Muslims.
He also highlighted the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the Arabic language, pointing out that the Kingdom has paid great attention to cultural exchange and educational scholarships to Pakistani students to study in Saudi universities such as Al-Imam Muhammad Ibin Saud Islamic University, the Islamic University in Madinah, Umm Al-Qura University and other universities in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan added that Saudi Arabia is now one of the 20 most powerful economies in the world and it seeks to be an ideal model with Saudi Vision 2030 in addition to its young and dynamic leadership.
He pointed out that the Kingdom is taking every opportunity to express its love to the people of Pakistan and stand by them in all difficult times, stressing that the Kingdom will spare no effort in strengthening relations with Pakistan.
The conference was attended by the President of National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad, Maj. Gen Zia Uddin Najam, senior cultural persons, the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Islamabad Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Husawi and the delegation of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for the Arabic Language.
