The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his guest residence here this evening the members of the Saudi Russian Business Council. At the outset of the audience, the Saudi minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed Al-Gasbi, who chairs his country's side in the Saudi Russian joint committee, delivered a speech in which he confirmed that this historic visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques would conduce to a qualitative leap in the Saudi Russian relations. He explained that the Saudi side would spare no effort, based on the help of Allah Almighty, the support and instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and guides of the Kingdom's vision 2030, and in cooperation with the Russian side to boost the bilateral relations to new horizons and make benefit from the two countries fundamentals through opening new potentials and markets as well as qualitative investments in the fields of energy, technology, military industry, infrastructure as the cooperation would also cover the fields of oil, petrochemicals, gas, minerals and agriculture. Al-Gasbi said that this constructive cooperation would contribute to creating jobs, enhancing the domestic content, increasing the exports of Saudi Arabia, and attracting qualitative investments. He drew the attention that, in the morning of today and on the fringes of the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Moscow, the Saudi Business Forum was held under the theme " investment is for building a close partnership" with the participation of more than 200 businessmen and businesswomen from the two countries. Also more than 27 bodies and factories took part in the Saudi national products exhibition which was held here. For his part, the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev delivered a speech in which he thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his continuous support for boosting cooperation relations between the Saudi and Russian businessmen according to the Kingdom's vision 2030.
