The Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense has affirmed that the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unification is an occasion to recall the achievements of the founder and builder of our country's renaissance, late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud and his faithful sons who have followed him, commending the Kingdom's growth and prosperity under the great leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. This came in the following speech delivered by the Crown Prince on this occasion. Praise be to Allah, and peace be upon Prophet Muhammad, his family and companions. We are happy to share the citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the celebration of the 87th anniversary of the unification of our beloved country, which was founded by the founder late king Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud whose approach was followed by his faithful sons while the loyal citizens of this country have taken part in these blessed efforts. On this dear occasion, we thank Allah Almighty for honoring this country for the service and care of the two holy mosques and their pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors, so it has exploited all its capabilities to achieve this great message. We also thank Allah Almighty for the blessing and giving of security, safety, tranquility and prosperity of our country whose success depends on adhering to the Holy Quran and the teachings of Sunnah of His Messenger - peace and blessings of Allah be upon him - as an approach in all matters and dealings. We thank Him for the abundant resources, potential and qualified human resources of our country and its strategic position qualifying it to be among the world's top developed countries, leading us to maintain our gains and continue to work for further progress and success. What our country is witnessing today is due to continuation by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of what has been done by the former kings of this country of giving, goodness and development as well as efforts to serve Islam and support Muslims. We do highly praise and appreciate the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and pray to Allah Almighty to extend his life, bless his efforts and to reward him with the best reward for his outstanding deed in the service of his people, the homeland and the nation. On this cherished anniversary of the unification of our dear country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we assert its effective and influential status and role at regional and international levels, with its commitment to work for the achievement of international peace and security and its pursuit for the good of all humanity. And here we see our country, thanks to God, as an active member of the Economic Group of Twenty (G20), which includes the world's strongest economies and we look ambitiously forward to seeing the Kingdom as a pioneering model at all levels, depending on the role of male and female young citizens in this regard with the strive for the achievement of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which marks the beginning of a new phase of development and hard work for future advancement as well as the pursuit for everything in the interest of the country and continues moving closer to top-ranked developed countries, while adhering to the principles of our religion and our noble values. Under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, this country has affirmed its right to uphold the truth and commitment to its principles to achieve justice as well as its quest for the achievement of regional security and world peace with its efforts the international community has witnessed in combating terrorism, eradicating its roots and drying its sources. On this occasion, we commend the efforts of the protectors of the country and its heroic soldiers who sacrificially risk their lives to save their religion and homeland, as we also commend the efforts of the security forces to maintain the security of the country, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon their souls of the martyrs and the high status in paradise, and a speedy recovery for the injured. We also pray to Allah Almighty to protect our country from any harm and perpetuate the blessing of security, stability, goodness, development and prosperity.
