The General Directorate of Passports (GDP) announced that a supreme royal approval for a further one month extension, starting from 1 Shawwal 1438 AH, for violators of all nationalities, in order to, voluntarily, leave the Kingdom, was issued. The decision was taken to enforce the comprehensive national campaign to track and control violators of residence, employment and border security systems, by giving the offenders an opportunity to leave the Kingdom on their own and at their own expense, within a period of no more than 90 days, which started on 1 Rajab 1438 AH, to avoid implication of the imprint, fees and fines imposed on violators of the residence, employment and border security regulations, while allowing them to return to the Kingdom, later on, by regular means. Maj. General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, Director of the GDP announced that in implementation of the directives of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naïf bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, the GDP has completed preparations, at all locations reserved for receiving violators, in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom and in coordination with the National Information Center and all concerned authorities, while these spots were clarified on the site and the official accounts of GDP, on the net. Al-Yahya called on all expatriate offenders who are in the Kingdom and are unable to take the advantage of the previous deadline, to completed their departure procedures, to quickly report to nearest reception spots for the violators to complete their departure procedures on their own and at their own expense, hence entertain the benefits of the period of grace's extension and exemptions granted to them before the expiry of the new deadline.
