King Abdulaziz Award for the finest camels is scheduled for March 19, official spokesman discloses

An official spokesman of Saudi Arabia most beautiful camels festival disclosed that King Abdulaziz Award to mark the event was scheduled for Sunday 19th March 2017.
In a press conference to highlight the annual occasion, Dr. Talal bin Khalid Al-Tarify, the official spokesman of the festival, explained that the most desirable event ever by camel herders will be held in South Sayahid of Dahna along the road between Arumaihh and Al-Hefna from 19th of March through 15th of April 2017 corresponding to 20th of Jumada II through 18th of Rajab 1438 H.
After two weeks from now, participants wishing to erect camps in the vicinity of the site will be allowed to do so, provided that they obtain permission defining the location of each according to specific coordinates and certain procedures aiming to achieve the best possible comfort and safety measures for them, Al-Tarify explained.
He went on to say that participants whose camels were registered, electronically numbered and passed the necessary medical checks will be communicated to be reassured of their participation or otherwise once the final procedure was issued by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
He confirmed that work for preparing and organizing the festival is underway in full swing according to schdule, emphasizing that the preparatory process aims at achieving the highest quality required and providing appropriate grounds for success and entertainment for Saudi families.
The new concept of the show is to padocking camels as a native civilization of diverse natures, he said, adding that there is a comprehensive work-group studying from now the means of development of festival and updating it with new advancements in future to pass the Saudi heritage to the current generations in diverse formulas satisfying all desires including the modern technical formula suitable for today.
Sheding more light on the point, Dr. Al-Tarify said that the coming sessions of the festival will witness something distinct and new every year to achieve a world class entertainment, spread the original Saudi heritage and highlight our concerted participation to make it a success.
In conclusion, Dr. Al-Tarify wished all persons in charge or interested in the event to enjoy a distinguished competition and fruitful interaction that conduces a general festive and lucrative event, announcing that a press conference will be held within days to cast light on the details, programs, events and initiatives of the festival.
