Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Sharq, Okaz and Al-Youm newspapers commented on the 37th summit of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Manama, Bahrain, saying that the files discussed at the summit are vital and pivotal to the common interests of the region including economic, political and security files, topped by following up the union project proposed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The papers noted that the union project is crucial to the Arab Gulf states that should be achieved to intensify the tracks of Gulf unification actions and get them out into existence in light of the challenges of difficult and thorny economic conditions and conflicts portend dangers threatening the GCC countries. The papers pointed out that the development of the cooperation experience and its transition to new prospects are on the agenda of Manama summit and they should exist on the ground to confront growing regional and global challenges.
