Prime Minister Theresa May plans to hold talks with Scotland aimed at preserving the country's "special union" with the rest of Britain on Friday following a June 23 referendum to leave the European Union, dpa reported. "I believe with all my heart in the United Kingdom - the precious bond between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland," May said ahead of talks with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon in Scotland. "I'm coming here to show my commitment to preserving this special union that has endured for centuries," she said in a statement. "And I want to say something else to the people of Scotland too: the government I lead will always be on your side," May said.
