The details of the national transformation program which was approved by the Council of Ministers in its regular meeting held late yesterday under the Chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud were announced as one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 presented by the Council of Economic and Development Affairs chaired by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense. This came during a press conference held here yesterday evening with the participation of Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Mohamed bin Abdulmalik Al Al-Sheikh; Minister of Civil Service Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Arj; Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdurrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli; Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh and Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Bentin. For the program, many innovative ways were used to accommodate the challenges facing the work of government and public sectors in the country, and address them to achieve positive results for the country and citizens and the program includes a number of strategic objectives to be achieved during the next five years, to be followed by other stages including other agencies on an annual basis, and develop detailed plans for the program, depending on phased indicators to measure and follow-up the performance. --More
