The Ministry of Interior urges citizens traveling to the Republic of Austria for the purpose of international conferences and forums, to get a visa. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Director of the General Administration of Relations and Media, at the Ministry of Interior Major General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Marol explained that the Ministry of Interior, based on a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has urged all citizens traveling for participating in international conferences and forums, to request entry of Austria visa as well as those who want to enter "Schengen countries". The request shall be made to the embassy of Republic of Austria, within a period of not less than 15 days before the beginning date of travel, as it is possible for travelers to apply for visa three months before the travel date, so that the competent authority would have sufficient time to finish the proceedings.
