The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon. - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on his phone call with the President of the Republic of Turkey; the phone call received from the President of Russian Federation; the message received from the President of Republic of Indonesia; the outcomes of his meetings with the Member of the British Parliament from the Conservative Party Rehman Chishti and the Members of the British Parliament; the former United States Secretary of State; the Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States, and the heads of the agencies responsible for protecting integrity and anti-corruption in the Gulf Cooperation Council. - The Cabinet expressed the Kingdom's strong condemnation of the terrorist attack that took place in Ankara, reconfirming the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's firm positions on rejecting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. - The Cabinet expressed the Kingdom's appreciation to sisterly states and all those who expressed their full support for the decision of the Kingdom to halt its scheduled aid for arming the Lebanese army and the remaining of the aid allocated to Lebanese Internal Security forces due to Lebanese stances against the Kingdom's honorable positions keen on all matters that achieve Lebanon's security and stability. - The Cabinet commended the stages of readiness and administrative and supplies capabilities provided by the concerned parties for the success of Raad Al-Shamal maneuvers which are considered the largest military exercises being witnessed in the history of the Middle East, expressing hope that these maneuvers achieve the set objectives in the exchange of experiences and upgrading the level of the military coordination. - The Cabinet welcomed the statement issued by the third extraordinary meeting of Information Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States, its emphasis on the importance of activating the role of media agencies and the implementation of joint integrated plans to make the media a major supporter of the political action in general, and its condemnation of indiscriminate attacks by Houthi militias and forces loyal to the deposed president on the Kingdom's southern border regions with the Republic of Yemen that targeted the civilian population.
