Japan's consumer prices were up 0.1 per cent from a year earlier in November, climbing for the first time in five months, the government said Friday, dpa reported. The core consumer price index, which excludes fresh food, stood at 103.4 against a base of 100 for 2010, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications said. Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said Thursday that the central bank would do "whatever it takes" to achieve 2-per-cent inflation. -- SPA 03:59 LOCAL TIME 00:59 GMT تغريد
