Qasabi said that the Council of Ministers was briefed on the agenda of its session, some of them the Shura Council shared in studying them. The Council decided the following:
First: After reviewing a report submitted by the Ministry of the Interior on amendments of the railway network, the Council of Ministers decided that the Higher Commission for Industrial Security shall undertake supervision of the railway network and its facilities between cities in accordance with instructions issued by the Ministry of Interior, and that the Ministry shall submit a report to the King, two years later, on the results of that.
Second: The Cabinet authorized the President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage or his deputy to discuss with the Egyptian side a draft memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of archeology, museums and architectural heritage between the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Antiquities of Arab Republic of Egypt, sign it, and then submit the final version for further authentication.
Third: The Cabinet decided the re-formation of the Committee on Disputes Settlement stipulated in Article XIII of the electricity system, issued according to the Royal Decree No. M / 56) dated 20/10/1426 H. for a period of three years under the chairmanship of Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Albajd, and the membership of Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Fahd, Dr. Fahd bin Ibrahim Al-Dowayan, Dr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Abdulwahhab, Dr. Ali bin Ahmed Sheikhi and Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Almgiuly.
Fourth : The Council of Ministers authorized the President of the Council of Economic Affairs and Development, or his deputy, to discuss with the Chinese side a draft memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the People's Republic of China on promoting the joint cooperation regarding the economic belt of the Silk Road and the Maritime Silk Road for the 21st Century initiative, to best serve the interests of the Kingdom, sign the outcome, and forward the final version, to complete the legal procedures.
The Cabinet extended the membership of Eng. Abdullah bin Abdullatif Al-Seif to the Board of the General Organization for Social Insurance as a representative of subscribers.
