Emphasizing the equal right of all peoples to live in a world free of nuclear weapons, which would not be achieved without the total irreversible elimination of all existing nuclear arsenals and, to this end, calling on the international community to adopt a more effective approach to implement Article VI of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons to regain its credibility, which had been eroded over the lack of implementing the disarmament related obligations stipulated in Article VI, and inviting the international community to engage in negotiations on a treaty to prevent and eliminate nuclear weapons under strict and effective international supervision and reiterating the deep concern at the catastrophic humanitarian consequences that might result from the use of such weapons. 6- Emphasizing that the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes is an inalienable right of States Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, and that the application of this right in discriminatory or selective manner will damage the credibility of the treaty. First, political coordination and multilateral relations: 1- Reaffirming the resolutions of the Brasilia Declaration (2005) and the Doha Declaration (2009) and the Declaration of Lima (2012), for the Palestinian Cause, the Arab-Israeli conflict and reaffirming the need to reach a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the Middle East based on the principle of land-for-peace and the immediate implementation of all the relevant resolutions of the United Nations, especially the Security Council resolutions 242 of 1967, No. 338 of 1973, No. 1515 of 2003, the Madrid terms of reference, the Arab peace initiative adopted in Beirut Summit 2002, and the Arab successive summits, to ensure achieving stability, peace and security for all countries in the region. Reaffirming the need for full implementation of the road map for peace drawn up by the Quartet and calling for its undertaking a renewed and preemptive role and stressing the need for the Quartet Committee to brief the Security Council and the international community of any development of its efforts, and emphasizing the importance that the UN Security Council undertakes its responsibilities under the Charter of Nations United, and provides effective support and guidance for the peace process. Reaffirming the need for the realization of the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination, to ensure the establishment of an independent State of Palestine on the basis of the 1967 parallel with Eastern Al-Quds as its capital, living in peace side by side with Israel, within secure and recognized borders, and find a just and comprehensive solution to the refugee problem in accordance with United Nations General Assembly Resolution 194 (III) and the Arab peace initiative. --More 21:12 LOCAL TIME 18:12 GMT تغريد
