The National Program of Exhibitions and Conferences announced the approval of its supervisory committee at its ninth meeting held recently at the headquarters of the program in Riyadh and chaired by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage and Chairman of the Committee, of trade fairs for the year 2016 including 140 trade fairs to be co-organized by 53 organizations and licensed companies. A report issued by the program pointed out that Riyadh region will witness more than half of the trade fairs in 2016, where 71 exhibitions will be held there by 51%, followed by Makkah region 44 exhibitions by 31%, followed by the Eastern Region 18 exhibitions by 13% and other regions including Qassim, Asir and Madinah will witness 7 exhibitions by 1%, while the number of approved international exhibitions in the trade fairs plan for the year 2016 by the National Programme for Exhibitions and Conferences totaled 111 exhibitions, in addition to 29 local exhibitions. -- SPA 11:45 LOCAL TIME 08:45 GMT تغريد
