Austrian Railways Stop Train Traffic with Hungary

AlQa'dah 27, 1436, September 11, 2015, SPA -- Austrian railway company OeBB said Thursday it has stopped all cross-border train connections to and from Hungary as the large amounts of refugees and migrants heading West have led to a "massive overload."
OeBB asks that aid volunteers and bus companies stop bringing people to train stations, which are already full with refugees who arrived from Hungary and are seeking to travel on to Germany, dpa reported.
Despite the temporary service interruption, OeBB said it will keep running shuttle trains from the Austrian-Hungarian border to Vienna, and that it will keep offering sleeping quarters at Westbahnhof station in the Austrian capital.
