AlQa'dah 26, 1436, Sep 10, 2015, SPA -- US Stocks are edging higher in midday trading as investors parse the latest news on the job market and try to anticipate what's next for U.S. interest rates. According to AP, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 65 points, or 0.4 percent, at 16,317 as of 11:45 a.m. Eastern time Thursday. The Standard & Poor's 500 index gained eight points, or 0.4 percent, to 1,950. The Nasdaq composite climbed 32 points, or 0.7 percent, to 4,788. Freight company Con-Way soared 34 percent after agreeing to be acquired by XPO Logistics. Lululemon sank 13 percent after the high-end apparel maker predicted profits for the current quarter that were lower than Wall Street analysts were expecting. Bond prices fell slightly. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note rose to 2.22 percent.
