AlQa'dah 08, 1436, August 23, 2015, SPA -- French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said Sunday that the migrant crisis in Macedonia needs to be dealt with without delay, AP reported. Fabius said foreign and interior ministers of EU member states will likely have to discuss the issue as the number of migrants coming through Macedonia is on the rise. He was speaking in Prague through an interpreter alongside Czech counterpart Lubomir Zaoralek at a news conference. Fabius said it's not just a problem for Macedonia to solve. Fabius appeared to be faint at the end of the news conference, but didn't lose consciousness. He swayed a couple of times with his eyes closed and a couple of people came to his aid, including Zaoralek, and then he was escorted out of the room. A French Foreign Ministry official said Fabius experienced a "small malaise without losing consciousness." The official said it was very hot in the room and that Fabius rested for five minutes and then went to an official dinner. A doctor wasn't called, said the official, who wasn't authorized to be named publicly. About 45,000 migrants have crossed through Macedonia over the past two months on their way to the EU. The migrants, many of whom are fleeing bloody conflicts, are traveling through Macedonia and continue to Serbia and then to EU-member Hungary. Once they enter Hungary, the migrants can travel freely across the borders of most of the 28 EU-member states.
