The Security spokesman of the Interior Ministry stated that further to what has been announced relating the incident of a car bombing by its driver at one of the security checkpoints along the road of Al-Ha'ir in Riyadh, resulting in his death and the injury of two security men, accordingly the competent authorities started their investigation in this heinous crime and they found that after the verification of the car driver's identity that his name is Abdullah Fahd Abdullah Al-Rasheed, a Saudi national, born in 1417 AH (1997 AD). He further stated that the competent authorities also found the car bomber has never travelled outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and that before blowing up the car at the security checkpoint, he had killed his uncle Colonel / Rashid Ibrahim Al-Safyan at his home in Riyadh. The security spokesman of the Interior Ministry added that the competent authorities are still investigating the incident.
