Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in an editorial under the title "Development is the Kingdom's bet in Yemen'' that the Kingdom has taken care of Yemen for a long time and tried through a series of economic measures and developmental initiatives to integrate it in the GCC system, but the Yemeni political system seems to continue on this situation by putting the country in permanent poverty and ignorance to keep control of it; in spite of this, the Kingdom has not given up the leadership of the major developmental programs and the preparation of international conferences aimed at granting Yemen the ability to develop its infrastructure and raise the living standards of its citizens, whether before or after the events of 2011. The paper stressed that the Kingdom is committed to making Yemen one of the most important countries in the Middle East, and it will not give it up or hand it to those who abuse it or traitors to destroy it and make it a failed state, but it will work on Yemen's development and restoration to normalcy to be a prosperous country. --More 12:38 LOCAL TIME 09:38 GMT تغريد
