Umrah performers coming or departing via Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) reached more than four million since the beginning of the ritual's season, it was reported today. A statistical report by the management of KAIA said those who came to perform Umrah (minor Hajj) until yesterday amounted to 1954471 aboard 10674 flights while the departees tolled to 2166820 on board 11286 flights. The report said the punctuality of scheduled coming and departing flights for Umrah performers stood at 99 per cent. The number Umrah performers is expected to hit seven million by the end of the ritual's season on the 15th of Shawal, 1436 H., the report said.
