Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region, who is also Director General of King Faisal Foundation, has lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness in the education and thought. This came during an announcement ceremony of winners of 2015 King Faisal International Prize. The winners are as following: 1- In the field of Islam Service (2015), the prize is awarded to Dr. Zakher Abdulkarim Naik, Indian Nationality. 2- In the field of Islamic Studies (2015), the prize is awarded to Dr. Eng. Abdulaziz bin Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Khaki, Saudi Nationality. 3- In the field of Arabic Language and Literature (2015), the prize is withheld. 4- In the field of Medicine (2015), the prize is shared by Prof. Jeffrey Evan Gordon, American Nationality, and Dr. Robert Glazer, American nationality. 5- In the field of Science (2015), the prize is shared by Prof. Michael Gratzl, Swiss Nationality, and Prof. Omar Mouanziaque, American Nationality.
