Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average rose 2 per cent Tuesday as export-linked issues were buoyed by a weaker yen, dpa reported. The Nikkei gained 352.01 points, or 2.07 per cent, to end at 17,366.3 while the broader-based Topix index was up 25.22 points, or 1.84 per cent, at 1397.63. On currency markets at 3 pm (0600 GMT), the dollar traded at 118.29-30 yen, up from Monday's 5 pm quote of 117.16-18 yen. The euro was quoted at 137.02-04 yen, up from 135.43-45 yen late Monday.
