On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Khudhairi will open here tomorrow, the 19th session of the Conference of Ministers responsible for cultural affairs in the Arab world under the title (Arabic Language, A Platform For Cultural and Humanitarian Integration).
The Conference will discuss a number of issues presented by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and its Member States, including the establishment of the Council of Arab Ministers of Culture, the establishment of Arab cultural satellite channel, holding of Arab cultural days, Arab poetry day, the Arab Charter for preservation of the architectural heritage in Arab countries and its development (Supreme Council of Architectural Heritage), Arab Urban and Architectural Observatory, ALECSO's Cultural Palace in the city of Al-Quds, and the charter for protection of cultural heritage in Arab countries.
The conference will be attended by more than 30 Arab countries, Organizations and institutions.
