A collision between a taxi and another car foiled a firebomb attack in Australia, police in the southern city of Adelaide said Saturday. Police said a taxi driver waved down a patrol car around 2 am (1530 GMT Friday), saying he feared being assaulted by the driver of another vehicle after they'd been involved a minor collision. Police examined the other car and found several Molotov cocktails inside, dpa reported. The man was charged with possession of items that threaten life and resisting arrest. He was refused bail and will appear in court Monday. Police said they would allege the man was planning an attack on people he knew.
