Preliminary data released by the Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) revealed that the total exports of non-petroleum goods of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounted to SR 57013 million, up 13.42% in the 3rd quarter 2014 compared to the same period of last year, and imports amounted to SR 169039 million, up 8.4% for the same period of the previous year. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the CDSI reported that the non-oil exports of the total value of imports during this period amounted to 33.72%. It said that the exports of plastics, rubber and their products ranked first at a value of SR 18600 million, by 32.62% of the total value of non-petroleum commodity exports; the chemical industry products occupied second place at a value of SR 18336 million by 32.16% and transport equipment and their parts thereof ranked third with a value of SR 6475 million by 11.36% of the total value of exports. --More 11:26 LOCAL TIME 08:26 GMT تغريد
