Crown Prince Chairs Cabinet's Session

AlHijjah 26, 1435, October 20, 2014, SPA -- Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday afternoon.
At the outset of the session, the Cabinet was briefed on the results of talks held by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar on aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, and the overall events and developments at Islamic, Arab and international arenas.
The Cabinet expressed its congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince for what has been achieved of success for this year's Hajj season, as pilgrims performed their Hajj rituals in safety, security, and an atmosphere of faith accompanied by intensive efforts and various services provided by all bodies participating in the works of Hajj. In this context, the Cabinet expressed its thanks and appreciation to all employees of government and private sectors, which were honored with providing services to the guests of Allah and for what they exerted of efforts to achieve the success of the plans, safety of Hajj and being free from epidemic and quarantine diseases.
The Cabinet stressed that the contents of the speech of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques addressed to pilgrims and its noble and valuable meanings embody the King's keenness and his sincere calls for the enhancement of the bonds of Islamic brotherhood among Muslims, clarification of the Islamic religion's tolerance, moderation and the importance of co-existence in this life through dialogue which is the way to stop the bloodshed, renounce dissention, ignorance and fanaticism so that peace prevails in the world; and his confirmation that extremism and terrorism have nothing to do at all with Islam, which requires that all join together in its fight and defeat for the protection of the Islamic nation from sliding into the tracks of extremist thoughts and private affiliations at the expense of the Islamic brotherhood.
