AlHijjah 26, 1435, Oct 20, 2014, SPA -- Scores of shops located in the central area surrounding the Mosque of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Madinah have attracted nowadays large numbers of pilgrims and visitors to the city of the Prophet, who packed up their belongings in preparation for the return to their home countries after performing this year's Hajj rituals. The pilgrims and visitors are also flowing into Madinah to perform prayers in the Prophet's mosque and greet him and his two companions (May Allah Almighty bless them), as well as visit the most prominent Islamic and historical monuments. The goods displayed by those stores are varying, but the common denominator among them is that they are suitable to the wishes of the pilgrims who are keen to buy them as a memory of this faith journey or for giving them as gifts to their families and relatives. At the forefront of these gifts are usually being bought by the pilgrims and visitors are beads, fabrics, dates and carpets along with small souvenirs and artifacts, and children's toys such as small camera equipped with pictures of the Two Holy Mosques, and other landmarks of Madinah.
