AlHijjah 21, 1435, Oct 15, 2014, SPA -- Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait received here today the GCC Ministers of Information participating in the 22nd meeting being held here. During the reception, the Kuwaiti Emir underscored the importance of finding out a cultural vision and a single GCC message in media to combat risks that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the whole region are facing. Sheikh Sabah stressed the keenness of the GCC's leaderships on enhancing common cooperation that promotes the Gulf unity in front of challenges in the region. For his part, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja lauded the directives of the Kuwaiti Emir and all GCC's leaderships, underling the importance of media role in the era of information technology and social media. According to Minister Khoja, the information technology and social media will push media to be more effective and accurate.
