The United States praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in the fight against terrorism, pointing to the great success it has achieved through programs to combat terrorism at home which have succeeded in significantly reducing the capacity of terrorists to carry out any operations to a minimum. In her daily press briefing last night, Deputy State Department Spokeswoman, Marie Harff, stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been and is still a reliable partner in the fight against terrorism. Harff cited as evidence the aid and cooperation shown by the Kingdom with the United States and other parties to eliminate al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, including the sharing and exchange of critical information to eliminate them and uncover their operations before they occur. The US official commended efforts of partnership and close and continuous cooperation in the field of counter-terrorism between Riyadh and Washington.
