Mahmoud Abbas meets with Chief of Int'l Red Cross

President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine met here today with the President of the International Committee of Red Cross Peter Maurer.
During the meeting, they discussed the difficult and tragic humanitarian situations witnessed by Gaza Strip, including the sizable losses of humans and properties as well as the infrastructure in addition to the possibilities of providing necessary humanitarian support for Gaza Strip people by the world community.
