King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) announced today the successful launch of the 13th Saudi industrial satellite (Saudi Sat-4) carried by the Russian-Ukrainian rocket (Dnepr) yesterday evening. KACST President Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Suwaiyel said in a press statement today that the launch of Saudi Sat-4 is of a particular importance, adding that the satellite is intended to conduct a scientific experiment using ultraviolet radiation in space, which was developed by a joint team from KACST and Stanford University.
