Secretary General of King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Madinah Dr Mohammed Salim bin Shadid Al-Awfi denied the existence of any errors in the text of the Quran in the Madinah edition of the Quran, which was produced by the complex. This came in a statement issued by the complex about what was published on the site (YouTube) on 16/08/1435 AH in the words of Abu Isahaq Alhowaini concerning the discovery of an error in the text of the Quran in the Madinah edition of King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Madinah of the twenty lines. He explained that the Quran referred to in the video was printed outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a copy of which was obtained by the complex. Al-Awfi said, "The news is not true because all editions of the complex of the Holy Quran contain fifteen lines per page, and no Quran with twenty lines was printed, regretting lack of verification before publication of this incorrect news."
